The perspective of on-going to construct two-story building new Damulog municipal hall

DAMULOG – Five months after a fire gutted the municipal hall here on July 7 this year, Damulog Mayor Melino L. Buro has been relentlessly trying to find ways to raise funds to rebuild the burnt town structure.

The young Mayor was deeply saddened by the event.

As the saying goes, “the prayer of the righteous has an effect”, a blessing from God came as Bukidnon Governor Jose Maria Zubiri provided funds for the reconstruction of the town hall.

Gov. Zubiri has set aside a P30 million budget for the construction of new municipal hall, to the great joy of Mayor Buro as well as the people of Damulog. 

Despite the many trials experienced in Damulog town, the officials led by Mayor Mel Buro have not lost hope; instead they prayed hard that God would provide them with funds for the rebuilding of the municipal hall.

Currently, there is funding from the national government through President Rodrigo Duterte with the help of Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘’ Bong ’’ Go who is the direct contact of Mayor Buro.
